Numerical studies of compressed and eccentrically compressed steel-fiber-reinforced concrete elements under static and short-term dynamic loads.

The paper presents the results of a comprehensive experimental and numerical study of the work of compressed and eccentrically compressed steel-fiber-reinforced concrete elements under various types of loading. The numerical simulation is carried out in a full three-dimensional dynamic statement within the phenomenological approach of continuum mechanics with an explicit allocation of reinforcing elements. The finite element method modified to solve dynamic problems in the full range of loading is used for the numerical solution. The effect of reinforcement on the deformation and destruction of the beam is studied. Experimental and numerical results are compared.
