Numerical studies of the work of bending reinforced concrete elements reinforced with fiber concrete under short-term dynamic loading

Reporter: Utkin D.G.

The paper presents the results of a comprehensive experimental and numerical study of the destruction of reinforced concrete beams and fiber concrete under short-term dynamic action. The numerical simulation is carried out in a full three-dimensional dynamic statement within the phenomenological approach of continuum mechanics with an explicit allocation of reinforcing elements. The finite element method modified to solve dynamic problems is used for the numerical solution. In the calculations, the impact of the load on the beam was replaced by an impulse. The dependence of the pulse on time was determined from the experiment. The effect of reinforcement on the deformation and destruction of the beam is studied. Experimental and numerical results are compared.
